2010-2011 NHL REGULAR SEASON HOCKEY POOL RULES

HOW TO ENTER

1. The Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora MEGA HOCKEY POOL is open to British Columbia Residents 19 years of age and above only. Draft Entry can be purchased for $20.00 per entry. Ticket order forms can be found at www.megahockeypool.com. Completed Ticket order forms along with payment may be dropped off at approved drop off locations or with Aurora Rotary members, or mailed, faxed or e-mailed as specified on the ticket and website . Cheques/money orders are to be made payable to ROTARY CLUB of KAMLOOPS AURORA.

2. There will only be 1,000 tickets available for purchase up to 8 pm, October 12, 2010 (the "Draft Entry Deadline"). Each ticket will be assigned an individual ticket number that is to be attached to the player selection list (picklist) to connect picks to the ticket.

3. Picklists will be available by October 1, 2010, posted to the www.MegaHockeyPool.com website, and available from members and sponsors. Picklists may be completed online by following directions on the website, or submitted to members or sponsors by the entry deadline of 8 pm October 12th. Changes may be made to the picklist up to the entry deadline. Picklists will be processed in the order that they are received. Picklists received after the Entry Deadline will not be accepted. Persons with incomplete, illegible or incorrectly completed Picklist forms may be disqualified from entering the contest and will be contacted if contact information is available.

4. Each Entrant of the first 1000 Entrants who properly completes the Picklist will have their team lists posted to the standings tab of www.MegaHockeyPool.com. Any and all discrepancies are to be reported in writing to Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora by December 31, 2010 failing which the information in the Verification Statement shall be considered final and correct. No corrections will be made after December 31, 2010. In the event of a reported discrepancy, the original entry form will be reviewed and compared to the Verification Statement. All decisions of Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora regarding discrepancies will be final. No requests for refunds will be accepted from participants/ticket holders after December 31, 2010.

5. ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL Committee members are ineligible to purchase Tickets in this raffle.

HOW TO PLAY - POINT ACCUMULATION RULES

6. Each Entrant shall select 1 player from each of the 24 boxes laid out on the official ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL to form their team (the "Team"). Only players listed in each box on the official ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL Picklist Form are eligible for selection to an Entrant's Team. No write-in selections will be accepted. Failure to select exactly 1 player from each of the 24 boxes may result in the disqualification of the Draft Sheet and Team. Upon receiving an invalid picklist the applicant will be contacted and until the correct information is received the team will not be registered. Any monies received from invalid entry forms will be returned to the entrant.

7. In calculating points for a hockey player, goals shall be worth one (1) point and assists shall be worth one (1) point. Goals and assists shall be determined using official National Hockey League statistics. In the event a player is traded from one National Hockey League team to another National Hockey League team during the season, all goals and assists scored on all National Hockey League teams during the regular season will be included in that player's point total. Points accumulate from the commencement of the 2010-2011 regular National Hockey League season as stated by the National Hockey League. Final official results and standings will be calculated and verified by Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora. A Team's accumulated point total at any time shall be determined by the total points scored by the Team's 24 hockey players in the season to date. Teams will be ranked by ordering their cumulative point total from the highest to the lowest.

8. The Contest End is at the end of the National Hockey League Regular Season. In the event of a hockey players strike, or any other unforeseen interruption forcing the premature termination of the Regular Season schedule, the Contest End will coincide with the date that the National Hockey League officials publicly announce as the end of the Regular Season.

9. The total prize values shall be $7,150. At the Contest End, entrants will be ranked based upon the total number of points accumulated by their 24 hockey players. Prizes shall be awarded to the Entrant(s) with the highest accumulated point totals. There are also Olympic break prizes and early bird prizes as defined below. The prize distribution shall be as follows:

9. The total prize values shall be $7,150. At the Contest End, entrants will be ranked based upon the total number of points accumulated by their top 23 hockey players. Prizes shall be awarded to the Entrant(s) with the highest accumulated point totals. There are also Olympic break prizes and early bird prizes as defined below. Early Bird Prize:
Two draws will be made from tickets purchased by 5 p.m., September 20, 2010 and two more draws for tickets purchased by 5 p.m., October 4, 2010. The winners will each receive $100. Winners to be drawn at Aurora Rotary Meetings September 21 and October 5, 2010

Prizes at All Star Break:
Following all games completed on January 26, 2010 (All Star Break), ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL will rank all Teams in the contest based upon their current point total. Prizes of $100 will be awarded to the 5 Entrants with the highest accumulated point totals. There will also be 5 bonus cash prizes of $50 value each for the entrants in 100th, 300th, 500th, 700th and 900th place at the All Star Break.

10. In the event of point ties for any of the prizes the prize money will be split equally between the tied entrants.

11. Cash prizes will be awarded within 30 days but not sooner than 5 days following the end of the Regular National Hockey League Season. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora reserves the right to have final decision making authority on all prize awards and distribution based on the stated rules. All winners agree to allow the use of his/her name and photograph for publicity without compensation. The decision of Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora respecting the issuance of prizes and the interpretation of all aspects of these rules shall in all respects be final. By entering, Entrants agree to be bound by these rules and any ruling related thereto by Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora. Winners of any prizes of ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL will have one (1) year (365 days) from the date of the close of the 2010-2011 ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL to claim their prizes. Subject to approval from the British Columbia Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch, any prizes remaining unclaimed after the deadline will be distributed as approved.

GENERAL RULES

12. General inquiries regarding ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL can be made by E-mail to info@megahockeypool.com until the Contest End. Any email inquiries regarding Entrants standings will not be accepted as the information is available on the web-site.

13. Standings are available for viewing at the official website of the ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL: www.megahockeypool.com. Subject to available newspaper space, the top 25 Entrants will be listed every month in Kamloops This Week newspaper, starting December, 2010.

14. Within two (2) weeks of the Contest End, a full listing of all Entrants, their total accumulated points and position within the ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL will be available for viewing at specified locations, during regular business hours for a period of two weeks. All contest winners will be notified by Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora by phone, email and/or mail. All prizes will be issued to winners in person or via Canada Post.

15. Net Proceeds of the ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL will be retained by the Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora and distributed as approved by the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch.

16. ROTARY AURORA MEGA HOCKEY POOL is not sold or advertised outside of British Columbia. The Draft has been authorized by the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch – License #26560
